Council Business

The local government transparency code has been introduced to increase democratic accountability and make it easier for local people to contribute to the local decision making process.  This code sets out the minimum data that local authorities should be publishing, the frequency it should be published and how it should be published.  You are free to re-use the data we publish under the terms of the Open Government Licence.
In line with the transparency code the council is required to publish details of expenditure and procurement in access of £500.  This information will be published shortly.

The council will undertake an annual risk assessment to identify current and expected risks that could have an impact on council business and considers ways to mitigate or eliminate these risks. This could be technological or legislative risk that could have a negative impact on the council’s reputation or a missed opportunity, such as a missed deadline for funding, for example.

The council meets on the first Monday of the month – unless its a bank holiday when the meeting is on the second Monday.  We do not meet in August.  All our meetings are held at the Glasson Dock Village Hall commencing at 7:30pm, unless otherwise stated.

Everyone is welcome to attend to air their views and here about the activities of the council.  We look forward to seeing you!
